Katie started life at the VW factory in Wolfsburg, Germany.
She rolled off the production line on September 22nd 1964 destined for a life in San Antonio, Texas where she remained until we found her. Katie was in a sorry state and had even been used as target practice on a firing range!
She was shipped to the UK and her two-year restoration began in Cornwall.
Today, Katie is back to her former glory. Rust free and resplendent in her new Sealing Wax Red and Beige Grey paint.
